Happy New Year to you and your family! As we embark on 2010, Venture would like to introduce our newly appointed President, Larry Kelleher. Larry is excited about the opportunity to take over at the helm and share his passion for boating with the Venture community. His experience, leadership, and dedication to the growth and success of a company will help Venture remain at the top. We are excited to welcome Captain Larry aboard and look forward to the many new and exciting Adventures to come.

Venture Rewards Program

In addition, Venture is bringing back the Referral Program for 2010. This program is eligible to all current Venture Owners. It is designed to reward our owners’ when they refer a customer to buy a 2010 model year boat from now until April 30, 2010. It can also apply to a current owner who upgrades. Here are the guidelines to the program.

Venture Reward Program Guidelines
The program runs from January 1st – April 30th, 2010
All boats must be a 2010 model and be purchased and delivered before April 30, 2010.
The cash incentive is available to current Venture Owner’s only and can be applied to oneself if you upgrade to a 2010 model. You will receive payment 30 days after the delivery of the new boat to the new customer.

Incentive Payouts
Refer a customer to buy a 2010 Venture 23’ and receive $1,000
Refer a customer to buy a 2010 Venture 27’ and receive $1,500
Refer a customer to buy a 2010 Venture 34’ and receive $2,500
Refer a customer to buy a 2010 Venture 39’ and receive $3,500

Fish Story of the Month

A new tournament came to Jupiter, FL this year with more than just the heaviest fish at stake. The Bluewater Babes “Fish for the Cure” made it’s mark here in the Palm Beach area attracting many local anglers excited to fish for the cure that effects so many lives. This new creative tournament brought fun, fundraising and fishing together. Three local 39’ Ventures fished the tournament along with the other 27 boats that entered. Owner Mark Connell and his crew on the 39’ Ceviche ended up winning second place wahoo with a 39.2lb wahoo caught by angler Kacey Rodriguez. The crew of four women anglers along with Captain Mark and a mate had an exciting day on the water catching the 2nd place wahoo along with some nice dolphin. The 39’ Next Venture also represented us well with a full crew of “Bluewater Babes” catching some nice blackfin tuna. “We had a lot of fun fishing with the ladies and knowing that it was all for a great cause made it that much better,” said Captain Larry Kelleher. Team Next Venture also had pink Venture shirts made showing their strong support for finding the cure. Also, another group of women fished on the 39’ Bull Run and ended up catching some nice kingfish. A great time was had by all crews and we hope to see more Ventures out there next year!
